There are ads all over Singapore for the launch of a new product. Called "Whatever" and "Anything", it just tickles my funny bone. How many time are we guilty of getting frustrated whenever being asked "What do you like to get for a drink?" - so much so we often reply "Aiyah, whatever lah!" or "Just give me anything that you have!"
I guess that is very much how the two new products get their dumb names. In fact, the consumer has no bloody idea what is inside each can of "Whatever" or "Anything". There are 6 flavours, of which the consumer will get a pleasant surprise only when they open the can to drink it. *How brilliant! Takes away all the thinking when you purchase a drink!*
So maybe next time you are asked what would u like for a drink, you can really reply "WHATEVER" !
