Other than attending the National Day Parade on 9 August, one can hardly feel excited being a Singaporean. Now there's another reason - the Government has given out an interim ang-pow (red packet) to every Singaporean, depending on their age, size of their apartment, and NS status. But of cos, the smarties will know that this is not enought to absorb the impact of the 2% GST hike that Ah Loong (our beloved PM Lee) is going to implement from June.
Go sign-up your GST Credits at your nearest UOB atm! Yours truly is looking forward to his $300 extra pocket money on 1 July.
