Last Thursday was the JP Morgan Run 2007. The whole race was 5.8km, and it was the 2nd time I am participating. Yours truly clocked 33min, a bit slower than last year's timing of 28min. Can't help it either, one should see the crowd at the starting point on the Esplanade Bridge.
I always feel that this is the healthiest networking event for everyone in the financial industry. The turnout was much larger than last year's, and it is always so exciting to see some ex-colleagues from KPMG, as well as ex-college mates from various FIs. It was great to catch up on each other's lives, bitch about our current jobs (low pay, long hours), and of cos compare our company-sponsored running attire.
Who say you need booze at a networking event? JP Morgan run has.. well..erm.. Bananas and Mineral Water! *hiaks*
