You know you have established a reputation when your name is used as a part of the English Language.
Eg "This woman likes to do an Angelina Jolie"
Meaning: This woman likes to steal other ladies' husband.
So when a close friend S told me she wanted to do a Weifeng, I was really perplexed. What am I guilty of? Let me count the ways:-
1) Fat - let's face it, I was once porky... u know f-a-t?! Besides, Georgie and Porgie (my sweet's best friends cos she loves to grab them) develop easily if I don't put in effort to my gym regime.
2) Ugly - It doesn't take rocket science to figure that Justin used to have lots of pimples, and still suffers from bad complexion, dark rings and enlarged pores. =(
3) Poor - Yes God, I acknowledge my riches are in heaven! But moolah is something that determines my bread and butter.
4) Exam freak - I am currently on my 6th post-graduation professional qualification. A bit scary yea. My lunch buddy is always amazed that I am always taking an exam.
5) Job hopper - My sweet says I belong to this category of HR candidates. Yea, I am guilty of changing 3 jobs in 4 years.
6) Qualities I definitely hope I am not guilty of: unfaithful, greedy, malicious, unfilial.
You can imagine, for a few seconds, Tintin was doing the permutations to figure what his friend S is trying to tell him - option (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) or all of the above?
Phew! She's just contemplating to switch jobs after joining her current company for about 3 months. In my personal opinion, there shouldn't be any issue with leaving your current job or shit hole if you're unhappy or unsatiated with salary, colleagues or job scope. Just leave on good terms with your superior. And, don't ever burn bridges.
