The Singapore Girl has made our national airline SIA a great way to fly. Is it the sarong kebaya or a certain X-factor that made her (and the airline) so desirable?
Well, according to Internet travel magazine, Matador Nights, Singapore was ranked among the top 10 cities in the world with the hottest girls, namely for their 'sophisticated, endearing, cute, and sexy' Singlish and our 'smouldering' fashion sense.
Honestly, I have no comments with the local slang of the Queen's language as I think it actually brings out the qualities of our multicultural society. But smouldering fashion sense? Hmm, pardon me, but isn't it increasingly common to notice ladies (and guys) guilty of sloppy dressing? Think flip flops, oversized bermudas and frumpy tee shirts, all in the middle of town. Their excuses are l-a-m-e - our humid weather is totally not an excuse to dress sloppily at formal occasions or downtown districts. After all, there are not many hot and stuffy places when almost the entire Singapore is air-conditioned (trains, buses, offices, shopping complexes, and even underpasses).
That aside, I am very glad that my girlfriend is not guilty of my grouses for sloppy dressers. I think it is just basic courtesy to look presentable for my other half (or strangers who will probably see me in a public place). PS has received flattering compliments from my friends (thanks guys), but to me, her heart is even more attractive and timeless. Thanks for loving a fastidious and vain Justin, dear. Hee =p
