Tintin grew up loving comic characters of the past. (Sorry, no pokemon in the 80s!) Yes, the animal characters in the Peanuts series Snoopy and Woodstock are among my favourite. They don't speak exactly the same language (not as in dog vs bird talk, but have you noticed that Woody only has skinny sticks in his speech balloons, while Snoops can actually spout perfect English?).. They also demostrated what love and friendship is all about - a listening ear to Woody, a place for a nap, where else but on Snoop's belly. They are the best confidantes and best friends. Ok, I so hope Woody is actually a female chick, so we don't get the Brokeback idea here.Knowing my sweetheart loves receiving wishes on greeting cards, I went about shopping for one when I chanced upon a card that has the similar picture of Snoopy giving a big hug to Woodstock. "Sweet", I thought. For a while, I was quite overwhelmed by a warm fuzzy feeling. It was probably the card to get I guess, for the right reasons.
In retrospection, it is truly amazing to see how He has guided us since the day we met, and my heart is full of thanksgiving as we "celebrated" our first month together. And I can only hope for many more months to come...
To my friends who are still searching for love, remember that God has prepared a person in your life. It is just about timing. Right dear?
