Signs From Hell.. Well Almost!

Roadsigns in the state of Wales are in English (the official language of United Kingdom) and Welsh (the native tongue of Wales). So when the linguistically-challenged public infrastructure authorities in London decided to errect a sign to prohibit heavy vehicles trespassing a residential district in Wales, it sought the help of the local Swansea council for the Welsh translation. They merely sent an email to the Swansea office and promptly proceeded with the production of the roadsign after receiving their reply.

Little did they know the reply in Welsh language was an "out of office" message that read -

"I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated"

And you thought only China grapples with public signs plagued with bad translation.
