The theme for tonight's episode of DnD was rather dark. It revolves around a plain jane gal who hated her job. No prizes for guessing what she does for a living - *Accounts Clerk*. And the reason for her being in a budget hotel room was because her best friend had locked her up with a stripper for her hen party.
And what a party it was. She was practically torturing the poor lad. As she knew she (or her best friend) had to pay $800 for the 1 hour she spent with the stripper, she ordered him to do demeaning and unreasonable things - drinking 3 cans of carbonated water at a go, not allowing him to visit the loo, dance at awkward positions. I mean, c'mon, u gotta treat a person with basic dignity. That bloody bitch was so irritating (read: overbearing and demeaning, just because she was "the customer, and the customer is always right") at some stage that I swear I would beat her up if she's in front of me.
Oh well, aren't we a bit like her? How many times have we...
1) Made a big fuss with the service staff at the restaurant when he had forgotten that you didn't want any garlic in your dish.
2) Feel cheated when a musical production wasn't up to your expectation, grumble about obtaining a refund if you have the chance.
3) Taken a free copy of the morning newspaper, and did not even say a "thank you" to the lady that was doing the distribution.
Oh well, money makes the world go round, and makes men see the ugly side of themselves. *Sigh*
