Dust to Dust

Why do Man (and I really do mean ladies and gentlemen in this case) often appreciate others only when they are gone? Just take MJ for an example. He has been making very decent music for many years, but was only remembered for his achievements when he kicked the bucket. It got the technically bankrupt Californian state spending millions on his funeral (somebody give Senator Arnie a brain transplant), and the folks at American Music Awards to award him not 1, but 5 (!!) posthumous awards for his 2003 album (a joke that was only saved by Lady Gaga's performance).

Not a bad thing, really, if you are stuck with a lousy nose job, rotten career, dumped by your wife for the Nth time etc. In short, your life is chicken shit.

If you have watched the play <<天冷就回来>>, you would remember this song <<某某人>> by Singapore 新谣 Maestro 梁文福, which perfectly describes this paradox.
