Mandopop songs sure gets you all e-m-o. My lunch buddy EL once gushed how teary-eye he gets while listening to the Chinese music on his drive back home. Thank goodness he is in his Ford Focus, else we will see a crazy middle-aged gentleman rolling on the floor crying his heart out (*kidding bro*).
These songs from some of my favourite male Chinese artistes often blow me away when I hear them. They remind me of special friends, memorable events, or my spiritual/secular views at different stages of my life.
