They say Singapore is a mere little red dot on the map. Given the level of urbanisation of our sunny island, it is indeed not easy to discover a square inch of unspoilt beauty.
You can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I visited Keppel Island for dinner last Sunday. The developer had definitely plonked obscene amount of money to construct an expensive playground for the affluent - think clubhouse, private marina, sweeping views of the sea, easily accessible from civilisation. Give Singaporeans good food, and I swear they will all be swarming to this place in no time.
