I nearly choked when I read this article in the Business Times:
"The top five US brokerages - Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Bear Stearns and Lehman Bros - in 2006 paid out US$36 billion in bonuses, which added to basic compensation paid, equals the GDP of Vietnam."
Gawd, are these people filthy rich or what!??
