These are some pics from my trip to Tai O in HK. Amazing how time stood still for this lovely village. Houses are built on stilts along the small river. Makes you wonder why modernisation is so drastic over in Singapore, so much so there is no more kampong left for cityfolks like us.
One of the interesting things at Tai O was the HSBC bank. As the "World's Local Bank", it occupies this quaint old white building beside the river.
