Yeah yeah, I know I am probably one of the suah ku (read: mountain turtle, or someone really out of fashion), by being a non-suscriber of cable television.
But hey, with the following smashing programmes, who needs cable:
1. I love Samsoon - Korean feministic drama, makes me happy. what can i say? And yes, the actress is FAT, just like my ex. Somethings like love are just unexplainable. Xuan Bing is just in love.
2. Stories about Love - this is the best thing on Ch 5 for the entire year. Probably because it was not written by any mediacorp scripwriters.
3. Front - Another saviour for local TV comes in the form of arts variety programme. Fronted by Kumar (*ufo handshake*), Eunice Olsen (*please represent my GRC, and I bet PAP will lose*), and Debbie Tan (*a slutty kitten*). This show rox even more with its puppet celebrities: Arty & Farty , and Ditzy & Titsy. *Isn't it lovely?*
4. HDB Tai Tai - Chen Liping and Kym Ng just hit all the right buttons with this heartlander show. It is like chemistry between the TaiTai-wanabe (Kym) and the trueblue-Ah Soh (Liping) that makes me laugh till i fall from my seat.
5. Those reality programmes that give cable a run for their $. Ok, I admit I watch SG Idol, and Project Runway. I watch the former for patriotic reasons, and the latter for the creative juices. and of cos, the bitching. *keke*
